I went to Johnson’s Shut Ins State Park
I sat around the fire
We have a nice stream near our campsite
I have a new bed for Gus. Gus likes it.
I saw lots of beautiful stars. I had the Indian food with rice for dinner.

I had eggs for breakfast.
I hiked the Goggins Mountain Equestrian trail It was 10 miles.
I crossed over the stream. My boots got wet.
We heard the helicopter.
I saw yellow blazes.
Eric won Uno. Mom won Trouble.
I sat around the fire. I got a special surprise.

I had eggs for breakfast. It’s St. Patrick’s Day
I hiked around the state park.
I drank hot chocolate.
We packed up and went home.

I’ve never been to Johnson’s Shut Ins, so I really appreciate all of the photos you have posted. The stream near your campsite looks like a good place to wade through and look for “lucky rocks” like my dad and I did together when I was younger! You are very fortunate to explore so many new discoveries! Pam
